Drafts (Checks)
As we update our banking system, you’ll need new draft books. Learn where to get them, when to start using them, and what to do with your old ones.
If you are ordering your own drafts, please use the verbiage below to replace Cobank, FCB:
Farm Credit of Southern Colorado Payable through Agribank, FCB
You will receive one free draft book due to our new routing number being changed. You will receive your draft book in the mail, the week of March 2nd.
March 2, 2026. Please do not use your new draft book until then, drafts that are used prior to this date will be rejected/returned.
If you need additional books after this, you can reach out to us to reorder. You may also order through a draft vendor of your choice using the new routing number.
You may notice on your new drafts that the account number is shorter, we no longer need to use the 5-digit number at the end of your loan number for your drafts.
The new routing number for Farm Credit of Southern Colorado is 096018569. This will be effective March 2, 2026.
The new wire routing number is: 096016972. This will be effective March 2, 2026.
You can bring them into your nearest office location to shred.

No. This will not show up on the bank statement, but the memo will always appear within online banking transaction details and the transaction activity page.
Both use ACH networks, but:
A2A (External) transfers are typically personal transfers between your own accounts at different institutions.
ACH transactions are usually business-focused (e.g., payroll or vendor payments), allow uploading participant files, and support recurring templates.
Transfers to other financial institutions will be completed as external transfers, also referred to as A2A (Account-to-Account) transfers.
To set up an external transfer, you will:
Add the external account in online banking under the transfers account page.
Verify the account using two small trial deposits that will be delivered within 3 business days.
Once verified, you can move funds between Farm Credit of Southern Colorado and the external institution.
Cutoff times for external transfers will be clearly displayed within online banking, and transfers can be scheduled as one-time or recurring.
Yes. Software-printed and third-party vendor checks will continue to work as long as they use the new routing number and updated account format. Borrowers using specialized computerized checks should contact their branch to discuss next steps.
Yes. Farm Credit of Southern Colorado will automatically send borrowers who have a line of credit loan, a free new draft book with the correct routing number and account number after go-live. Old drafts will work briefly during a short transition period, but borrowers should switch to the new drafts as soon as they receive them.
Automatic payments and direct deposits will need to be re-established with your external institutions using Farm Credit of Southern Colorado’s new routing number (096018569) and your 7-digit account number after the March 3 go-live date.
Yes. A new routing number is being introduced, and the extra 5 digits at the end of your account number will be removed. Any ACH setups for payments or deposits will need to be updated with the new routing number (096018569) and your 7-digit account number.
The core 7-digit account number will stay the same. However, the extra 5-digits currently at the end of your account number used for drafts and electronic payments will be eliminated.
The system currently supports connectivity with QuickBooks and Quicken. We are unable to test the functionality of other financial technology platforms like Plaid and Yodlee at this time. Farm Credit of Southern Colorado will follow up if more information becomes available.
Please refer to our tutorial and click-thru demos above. The Business Banking video will walk users through how to add payees and submit ACH’s as well as Wires in the new online banking system. The Business Banking Demo will allow users to test out these features as well as the rest of the new system.
